Identify This Connector
I am almost finished rebuilding a salvage BRZ Limited with front end damage.
The radiator support front cut I purchased from a local yard had some wiring harness scraps attached. This connector was part of the right side bundle that splits to feed the fans, horns, headlight, crash sensor, etc. My car does not have this connector on it. There are signs that a previous owner made alterations to the wiring harness. There is also crash damage that severed some wiring (different color wires though). So, I am trying to determine if this connector was: a. an option my car did not have b. removed by a previous owner for some reason, or c. severed by the collision and to a part I didn’t know I need to find |

All the connectors on my car are grey. Pretty sure OP's picture is the fog.

My car and the front cut both have these three connectors on both sides, I’ve been assuming they are (left to right): Headlight, Foglight, Side Marker. (Lights are on order but haven’t arrived yet).
The front cut had the connector from the original post only on the right side. |

That is the front turn signal connector for FRS. That 3-pin end connects to the the bulb holder on the signal itself. Where the wires are snipped you would find the 4-pin connector, with 4 pinouts being: 1. Turn Signal (blinking), 2. Turn Running (steady, at night), 3. Fog, 4. Ground See thread for additional pictures: https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19169 You can see how to access the fog power via Toyota's instruction manual for FRS Fog Lights: PT413-18130.pdf Last edited by EndlessAzure; 06-08-2020 at 08:11 PM. |

@EndlessAzure Thank you for identifying it.
Thank you to everyone that attempted to identify it. It sounds like it shouldn’t be relevant to my car, so I won’t worry about it. |

Well. I figured out that the connector isn’t what we thought. It’s the connector for the levelers on the factory headlights.
Just found the wires folded up and taped over in part of the harness on the car. Then I watched a bunch of Youtube headlight videos until I found one that showed the connector. Not sure i’ll go to the trouble of fixing the wiring since I’m not using OEM headlights. |
