Mystery clip

I was doing a clutch job on my FRS and this clip fell from under the car. I'm not sure where it came from but I think it was near the rear half of the car.
It looks like a bolt would go through it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you recently change your brake lines?
Looks almost like brake line clip

I thought it looked like that too but nope, never touched the brakes. I'll double check there though.

If i recall correctly there are some of these clips right under the gas tank to maintain a heat shield

Not sure but look in this area

You were absolutely right. The clip was for the gas tank heat shield. I must have knocked it when I was under there at some point.
