Hes an awesome dog, a total goof. They can be stubborn though and they can get addicted to bad behaviour (chasing tail). But as long as you nip the problems in the ass quickly, you'll be good.

The breed is a total clown.

Great stuff! Luna (photo above) does the slide thing into our front door. If you throw her Kong ball down the hallway she'll chase after it and push it into the door until she slides into it at full speed.

It makes quite a racket when her 100lbs hit the door!

Dex does the same thing. He has such a friendly and fun loving personality, but the breed seems to have a bad rap

My boy, Rambler:

Rambler giving a present the business at Christmas this past year:

Ram and my parents dog Mollie (she shows her regret for making a mess):

Ram showing his regret (yea right):

I got Rambler from the shelter about 9 years ago. He was picked up by the dog catcher going through people's trash cans on the street. He had an eye cherry, a hernia on his stomach, worms, malnourished (could easily count all his ribs), and a very bad case of fleas. Took a while to get him into good shape, but it was worth it. He's very protective, but has mellowed out some with age. I think he loves my mom more than me though, when she was doing chemo treatments I would take him over to their house of the morning before I left for work, he would lay on her lap the entire day and stay at her side when she got up for anything. She loved having him there and it made her feel a bit better. When their previous dog started going blind, he would stay by her side so that she could follow him through the house to find her way.

This is Felix (no, I did not name him. Stupid cat name). He's 4 and a half now. I got him in Nordheim when I was stationed in Germany because I wanted a real GSD and not what American breeders have done to the breed. He's 31" at his shoulders, 36" from the base of his neck to the base of his tail and is 110 pounds. When he stands up he's over 6' tall. That said, he thinks he's a lap dog. Now that he's a little older and his prey drove has settled down some we take him everywhere, Even if his panting does rock the whole car. lol
