I bet there is some Chinese company trying to figure out how to make their own version lol
How about a body kit to transform our FR-S' into an FT1?
Must be about 5 yrs away....

Wow, as they would say on Top Gear "that's a nice piece of kit!"

Very nice! I like that you can swap a set of bolts to the other side to gain more adjustment range.

Very cool, I've often considered these to do bleeding at home without having to go and grab the power bleeder from the race trailer.

This should be available in GT6 - I will try to get it before Wednesday night.
Quote:
Owners of Gran Turismo 6 will be the first to test-drive the FT-1 after a free online update that will be made available tomorrow, January 14th. After downloading the update, a unique seasonal event featuring the Toyota FT-1 will be made available in the game. If you receive a bronze or better in the FT-1 challenge at Laguna Seca, you will receive the car. Drivers will also be able to purchase the vehicle from the Toyota dealership without having to complete the seasonal event.
@Slick
@UMB FR-S
@86gt?

I tried to start GT6 today (to get the new FT1), but there was the mandatory update to 1.0.3. I started the update and my PS3 just crashes and reboots

In case you have this problem, I found a solution:
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost...postcount=5967
Quote:
Got it working, start the game > skip update > sign in and skip update again > error message > go to ingame notifications and update from there.

Some pics from last night's GT6 Online racing.
Norman, Chad and Kenny joined up last night!

My starting position in Race 1 at Tsukuba, wtf?

Pete heading for the win.

GTR's at Matterhorn.

M3 Racecars at Apricot Hill

Just after first corner for Mount Panorama with Honda HSV

Spa first corner with Peugeot LMS car

End of straight after Eau Rouge

Greg and I heading for the checker at Laguna Seca with Mercedes SLS Racecar (would have been the closest finish if it wasn't for shenanigans, lol)

And after all this, we never actually used the FT1 for any race. Everyone was done by 10pm.

Ya it was lots of fun up until I lost connection and could not join back in for some reason. Hopefully next week it's more reliable for me!

Screen shots/gameplay looks very realistic
Of course comparing it to GT2 on my PS1 is silly

Just got the frame-less mirrors from the scion dealer. Surprisingly its cheaper to get it in Canada then buying it from the US.

The part number is SU003-03183. I paid 81 dollars taxes included. I was surprised it was that low compared to aftermarket. The Scion frs 10 series comes standard with these frame-less mirrors, that is y they are now sold in Canada. It really makes the interior looks bit better than before, and i feel as though i am able to see a lot more using these mirrors ( probablly just imagining stuff tho lol)
