Fast / slow rev limiter???

I noticed that sometimes when im stopped and hit redline (i know not good i noticed by accident) my rev limiter is sometimes slow like a honda and sometimes almost double speed like a speed bike almost and i can never replicate it im guessing its normal but i was wondering if anyone has had this happen and why it happens!

Thanks mike

Maybe you don't have the pedal all the way to the floor when it does the slow rev?

Peculiar. Mine is always slow, I've never gotten the fast bounce. A lot of tunes can change it so it doesn't bounce at all, just sits and holds. That seems more optimal, though the fast-bounce sounds sexy with decent exhaust haha.

I wish mine bounced like that when I'm actually moving--it just goes into a
'suspended animation' when I hit the limiter.

Fuel cut is fastest, throttle closing is slowest, and spark retard is in the middle.

I noticed this too with my car, itll bounce slow sometimes and fast sometimes.....ive been meaning to check and see whether having it in gear with clutch in makes a difference compared to just having the trans in neutral.

Ive actually been meaning to ask, but never go around to actually contacting anybody who tunes, with an aftermarket tune(like ecutek) can you change the style of rev limiting?(fuel cut, ignition cut, etc etc)
