Bright side is you'll probably get a new motor out of this.

If they found and removed sealant, damage done. They're just buying time now

Here is a vid of mine, does not sound like your video. Does it still make the noise at higher RPM or while cruising?

My only advise is, keep taking it back to Toyota until they fix it. Took me about 6 more visits after they did the recall repair to get it done right.

Patience is key. Good luck!

Thanks, everyone for your feedback again. This is defiantly a frustrating experience for anyone dealing with post recall issues. Here is a video from under the hood. It sounds like is coming from the passenger side middle way back. Nowhere near the high-pressure fuel pump.

Any last thoughts based on this video before I bring it back in would be appreciated.

It's your vacuum pump. You were centered right on it at the beginning of your video. Watch the area for oil leakage after they fix it.

Thanks, so is that also a recall item. Not sure why noise was not there prior to recall for j02 is it possible that somehow trigger this? I am worried that tech repeatedly say this is fuel pump since week 1 after recall "fix" 5 repairs later. When noise is on other side of engine bay.

I don't really know. I haven't gone back to review the procedure but they did have to remove the cams. Maybe they buggered something on reassembly.

It's driven off the back of the intake cam, as I recall, so when all of that came apart for the recall, there is always the chance for it to become damaged.

Try pumping the breaks and see if it goes away for a while. Mines does something similar to this.

Well car is still in shop they have found issue with broken o ring on the vacuum. But seems it's more complicated then just that. Don't have many details other than they pulled engine a few times. And breaking did not seem to have any effect on this issue.

So car is finally back home and so far so good. They replaced two broken orings one that was on the vacuum pump and a spark plug that was maybe misfiring. Thanks to everyone for feedback and encouragement. I will update if anything changes. Everyone who help find this issue I'm beyond grateful.
