Exclamation Tire Clunking Noise

Due to shitty Canadian Roads and constant year-round construction. I managed to drive through a pot hole. I jerked a wheel a little to the right to try to avoid the hole but still hit it.

Problem:
When I turn the wheel to the left a little bit while driving, there is a clunking noise coming from the wheel area.

This seems to be an issue after the car is warmed up and driven for a bit.

The alignment doesn't seem like its off and is normal when i drive,

Did anyone have a similar issue? Could it possibly be a CV joint issue or a tie rod?

btw car has a rebuilt title, so no warranty / take it to the dealer.

thanks

a first step would be jack it up, remove tires and check that everything is torqued to spec

im guessing front swaybar endlink might not be snug

It could be a lot of things ........

I'd suggest you take your car into a alignment/automotive shop and have it checked out.

OR .... we can just continue guessing ......

Even before taking the tire off, you can lift the car off the ground and look for play. IF the tire can be shaken left and right there is a ball joint issue.
Grab the tie rod and try and move it in any and every direction. If you can feel any play at all, it's shot. You should be able to twist it a bit, but that's it. Zero play up and down or side to side or front to back is what you are looking for.A simple test is to try and rock the tire/wheel, first at top/bottom, then at left and right (9and 3). Play in both locations is typically the bearing. Play only side to side is usually the tie rod end.

Regardless after you possibly diagnose the issue visit two or three reputable alignment/suspension/mechanic shops compare the prices and diagnoses and then go to one.

Check your seats. Mine had a wheel location clunk on turning and my back seats had came loose, just shut them and clunk gone. Okay yours may not be that but worth a shot. What I thought was a wheel suspension problem was nothing
