Had a recent recap on some of my recent favorites

Akame ga kill
Hellsing ultimate
Castlevania
I've been on and off with black clover. Stopped watching after peak of elve arc. Started reading the manga which is farther ahead and I'm looking forward to what's to come.

Also been following Kengan omega manga. Fighting anime similar to Baki but more grounded. Manga has excellent art.

Same with one punch man. The Manga art is fantastic.

Akame ga kill is sooo good. One of my favorites of the past few years for sure. I rewatched it just earlier this year (fuck, last year *eye_roll*) when I was bored stuck at home.

Finished watching akame ga kill based on spike's reaction. It's pretty good but I have no idea why. I think it's the brutal unpredictability of it maybe?

I think it’s the unpredictability, the action, and the family above life story/traumas aspect. They all have their weaknesses and scars but are able to accept each other in spite of them.

edit: also, the fact that the "evil" group is mostly of the same mold (mould?) with the same kinds of scars gives the viewer the additional mindset that as chaotic as the world is, it's again a matter of what environment you're in that in some ways puts you into a place to do something evil or good.

I dunno, I think there's a lot to extract. I'd have to rewatch, again, to start doing a deep dive on it ;D.

I have decided to try Demon Slayer since it's now available subbed on Netflix (it had also been available on HBO Max but I think only dubbed..).

Two episodes in so far. I'm not a huge fantasy type, prefer scifi anime for the most part but this may be an interesting one.

Just started watching "The Way of the Househusband" on Netflix. Pretty funny. Reminds me of Saiki K. Too bad it's a very short series.

Haha Gokushufudoh is great series! I've been reading that series. I know they made live action version, which I need to find & watch as well.

Also I think, they announced that they're making 2nd season.

Sweet! I like these kind of "stupid" series as they are hilarious. Glad to hear they announced a second season.

If you know of any others like it that's on Netflix or Crunchyroll, please let me know .
