Think it was gone in the last model year. My 2016 has no CD player in the head unit.

The cars are as bone stock as they can get.
Not even an option for GPS... which is a deal breaker for me. |

It would be funny if it's $900 bucks for just the GPS mouse antenna and software. If not then I guess I can't just get this headunit and swap it into my car.
The Fujitsu headunit from Subaru is very ugly, and the stock roof mic is powered so aftermarket headunits can't work with it. Quote:
So I guess the new Toyota 86 monospec is actually the old BRZ Premium spec. Last edited by krayzie; 09-09-2016 at 06:11 AM. |

Definitely not liking the new dash. It looks like something you see in 20 year old cars that have been in the sun the entire time and folks try to cover it up.

Can't really say I'm interested in the new car. Not enough of an upgrade over the original model. I think their pricing is also too high, considering you can pick up a used 2015 Mustang GT with over 400HP for just a little more and these cars depreciate so fast.

Why not get a Boss 302 instead for the same money? You think 86s lose value quickly? Look at how much 2012 Mustangs are selling for now. |

But they do lose value like crazy, for example let's take a similar car say the Miata ND they drop about at most 3k in the year that it's been out. An FRS or BRZ of the same year would drop almost 5k, then we have the 2013 now going for about 16k and we're talking BRZ Limited with like 40k in miles. More than 10k drop in 4 years that's pretty significant, my only hope is that this will be like the s2000 it will drop to like a low of just under 10k and then rise up close to 20k again.

I hate having very limited production car. It cost arm and leg to get replacement parts and it takes forever to find em in good condition. I felt like when I find a parts for my old car (2.5RS coupe), man felt like I found a treasure lol Last edited by ichitaka05; 09-09-2016 at 06:46 PM. |

Disappointed that the instrument cluster panel hasn't changed in the North America version. Might just end up picking up a 2016 Scion FRS since the discounts are pretty good on a new one now.
