Yes

But not for hail. The capsule fans are claimed to keep air circulating to prevent condensation and mold. I got the capsule to keep rodents away from the car in the garage, but a new project has claimed the stall for the winter, so it’s on the patio for the winter (to my spouse’s dismay).

Well I washed & topped up the tank earlier this week and now it won’t start…

…Till March or April when the dry roads return and are cleared of salt.

Plugged the battery tender up over the weekend and tucked her in with a blanket for a 4 month sleep.
Called to take off the road insurance and re-allocated those saved funds for xmas.

Only 15k Km done in past 8 months this year that’s a lot less than was done in previous years.

It’s been snowing lightly for the past week and im finding new body rust cancer on the 16 yr old GD3
as a reminder why I go to the trouble of putting the BRZ away.

Washed the BRZ and put it away, under cover for the winter.

Ace's 2013 Subaru BRZ Build

Got around to wiring my driver side headlight harness along with installing my Chasebay's windshield reservoir as well.

LoL, I was going to tuck my VDC control module there, but my ChaseBay's reservoir tucked very nice right there.

Nothing, because 10 months ago a nice lady decided her phone was more important than stopping at a red light…

Since I have not been on the track this summer finally changed the oil. Actually got just over 3k on it. Only had one 5qt container of 0W40 so the last quart and half was European 5W40, engine will probably blow up tomorrow!

Well I did not blow my engine but I Hooned some on the way to work yesterday. Clutch felt a little weird on the way home. Today headed to work my clutch broke loose in 6th gear on the highway. Looks like I smoked my ACT clutch in 30k miles. Was wondering so I counted my shifts on the way home today. 196 shifts in 19 miles. Got to love Dallas traffic.

i couldn't count that high in traffic.

but my typical weekend going's on with the car, i'm probably close to 100-200 shifts as well. of course half those are rev-matching and engine braking to slow down to stop lights because it's fun.
