Saw My First FR-S Today

On the 405 going north. It was red. Saw it almost entirely from the rear.

Impression: It looked big. Bigger than a MINI. Bigger than an S2000. Big like a Genesis (although I am no expert on the Genesis). By "big" I mean wide, since I only saw it from the rear.

Feeling: Disappointed about the size. But will wait to see the whole car and drive it.

Umm .......That's really cool.

I assume you don't have any pics. But you we're definitely not seeing the FRS right, because a Genesis Coupe is bigger than a Camaro.

And the Camaro is massive compared to the FRS. That means the GC must be humongous compared to the FRS. Haha

Glad to hear ya caught one in the wild. Actually its much closer to the size of a 370Z or the S2000. Check out the dimensions, many of the cars are within inches of each other.

^^You're undoubtedly right. But the impression I got from that brief look was that it was wide and tall compared to what I expected. I'll have to get a better look when I can test drive one.

That's interesting to hear because most people say it looks SMALLER in person than they were expecting

This is where you fail. The GC is actually smaller than all 3 domestic pony cars and closer to the size of a 3 series coupe/G37.

GC 182 inches
Camaro 190 inches
Mustang 188 inches
Challenger 197.7 inches

You didn't have to say I failed. And the Camaro and GC are very close in width.

GC: 73.4 in
Camaro: 75 in

Thanks for the correction though.

Hey, this is ft86club! Bitchiness, snide putdowns, and one-upmanship come with the territory!

(I think I just found my tagline!)

May I use that as my signature?
