Just so we're all aware, 6th at 4500 is something like 130 or 140mph. It is getting awfully close to the cars top speed.

There's not a chance I'll be reading through 99 pages of this. My question is this.

I'll be getting the OFT shortly. I have an AEM intake and a Spec-D exhaust. I'm curious as to which tune would be the ideal one to use. One consideration, the AEM intake has an extra sensor included with it, so it adjusts things on the intake side by itself (Or so it claims).

Will I still need a tune for the intake, or just something with the exhaust?

Depends on which header you're using. Stock header stage 1 tunes, equal length headers use stage 2 EL tunes, and unequal length headers use stage 2 UEL tunes. For the intake I recommend checking for a MAF scale that's already been done for the AEM without adapter. All the adapter does is compensate for the change in MAF scale. Once you have the OFT you can scale the MAF yourself. Seriously, you won't get the most responsive, quick, and quiet power gains without scaling the MAF as close to 0% STFT/LTFT as you can get it. No manufactured option can come as close as doing it yourself. If you doubt me, just hook up your OFT, select diagnostics, your car, and watch your STFT and LTFT numbers. Positive numbers are too lean, and negative numbers are too rich. Too much either way costs you power and mileage. Anything over 5 positive or negative is worth fixing.

I got a CEL with code P0700 after reading my car's stock ECU file with the OFT. On a different thread I think I remember @Shiv@Openflash saying that this code is normal for 6AT cars during the flash process and the code will clear itself in a few drive cycles. Only thing is, I just did a read and haven't written anything yet. Can any 6AT owners confirm that a P0700 CEL is normal with OFT use and will clear itself? Many thanks.

It's normal. It'll clear after some drive time.

Ah, okay. Was looking to see if anyone knew, but I should have my OFT hooked up by the end of the month. Car is currently in the body shop

I'm pretty sure it is much nearer to 105mph in the manual than the figures you mention here
