Out of the two there and your goals, you probably don't need or even want the Clubsport version. Usually that's the more track oriented version, higher spring rates, wider dampening range for them, etc. I'd do the regular V3's with the 4/5k springs. It'll be plenty for the street and just fine for the occasional track day.

I'd also get the RLCA's. Without them, rear camber will be whatever it ends up being on it's own.

For the three goals you have listed, you can probably get mostly close to them all. It'll ride better over most bumps and imperfections, but also be sportier and handle better. Adjust the dampening settings for each. You can also get that 1" drop too. Only thing to keep in mind are the higher spring rates over stock, but proper valving from something like a KW makes it work for the road too. Can't really explain it well - it'll still be stiff, but not "crashy" if that makes any sense.

No worries thanks for the clarification!

If I fit kw v3 with 60/70 stiff, 170/170 length springs and add front KW CS top mounts will I have the same setup as the KW Clubsport kit?

Edit: Answered by KW:
"No, they don´t have the same valving, as there is a different piston rod and valve package included"

I will just buy KW v3 and separated 60-170, so front will be 50-200 from the kit, and rear 60-170. Would that be all right or should I match both lenghts?
It´s for a mixed use car with often spirited driving and ~4 trackdays per year

Right different valving for V3 and CS.

50-200 front and 60-170 rear is exactly what I run on my car. It'll be good.

Hay, I have the setup above sitting on the floor. In January I will install it. Once I install it I can give you some feedback if you want.

I went with the Pedders top hats, they look and feel solid and idiot proof.

Its a shame that you mention that now
I ordered and installed on the coil the 60-200 on the rears.


What's the big difference in 60-170 vs 60-200? And why do you recommend it on the rear?
Also, do you have any idea why KW went with 200mm squared?


Is it worth it to order the 60-170 while the coils are still out?

It doesn't matter too much to be honest, both will work. The 170 is a tiny bit lighter. Especially in the rear, you have a lot of thread on the coilover and the longer spring won't limit the ride height you can get. In the front, if you went with like a 250 mm spring you'd have trouble lowering the car.

Thanks, I ended up ordering Whiteline RLCA.
I will most probably install the same, but with KW clubsport top hats instead

Or maybe I jump directly to the whole KW clubsport kit, with 60/70 springs. Still researching a bit, Im afraid that it can be overkill for my little 4-5 trackdays per year and kill a bit my street usage. Any recommendations are welcome

I can confirm, I’m currently on 50-250 front with CS lowering mounts and minimum ride height is -32mm, using oem mounts would get the car sits higher, probably around -18mm as a max lowering.

Rear dampers have lot of threads even when settled to the lower preload side of the recommended range, you won’t have any troubles; that said tho, I would not exceed -30mm in the rear if you don’t want to rebuild a Cv joint per month.

I think the setup you want is more inline with the ss1/ss2 just need to wrap your head around shipping and import fees lol.

I think you'll be plenty happy with the V3s with the 5/6 springs for an all around fun set up. You could add swaybars later if you feel like you need it.

Hey Andrew, could you please give me a hint about what could be wrong here. I installed KW v3 with 50-200 front, 60-170 rear. With CS top mounts.

Rear is ok, but front is set at the very end of the thread, see picture, and still the height is quite high. I estimate the drop is only like 0.8", max.

Mechanic said spring has no pre-load at all. Am I missing something here? :/

@KiK how was it for you in the end?
