GrimmSpeed Pulley Cover w/Tool Tray - Now Available!
ENGINEERED TO PERFECTION.
http://www.grimmspeed.com/pulley-cov...tray-brz-fr-s/ Booya! Add a bit of style and function to your engine bay with this simple but elegant and first of it's kind pulley cover, featuring the world famous GrimmSpeed tool tray. This cover mounts securely in place of your plastic factory covers and its asymmetric design compliments the BRZ/FR-S engine bay nicely. Available in brushed stainless steel, as well as our two standard texture DuPont™ powdercoat finishes, there’s an option for everybody. Quick Specs
Design Once again utilizing our in-house FARO Arm along with 3D CAD software, we were able to map the location of not only the mounting points, but also the smaller, critical components in different model years. A belt cover designed without these in mind can wear through hoses or wiring and worse yet, may contact your accessory belts or pulley, causing serious damage. What this means for you is that the best fitting and most complete Pulley Cover on the market is here at last. It’s what you can expect from GrimmSpeed, and it’s what you’ll get with this kit. Materials Our Pulley Cover is precision laser cut from locally-sourced material and the tool tray is stamped before its CNC bent for a perfect fit. Aluminum covers receive a durable DuPont powdercoat in a textured red or black, while the stainless steel covers receive a protective film to prevent scratches in both manufacturing and shipping. Mounting of the cover is facilitated my machined aluminum supports. Following the machining process, these supports are black anodized for a clean look and corrosion resistance. This is particularly important in an environment like your engine bay. Clear zinc hardware finishes the look and keeps everything planted firmly. Fitments
Our groupbuy for these is currently active, so if you're interested head on over to http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62660 and get added to the list! Chase Engineering Last edited by GrimmSpeed; 04-10-2014 at 12:25 PM. |

What do these things even do? Just make the engine bay nicer?

They're a cosmetic add on, but this one also functions as a tool tray. I can't count how many times I've left a wrench or something sitting on top of a strut tower or the intake manifold cover.
Awesome design @GrimmSpeed

I can make that happen: BAM!
These are the only two tools that it takes to install this piece We were strongly hoping for 1 million WHP, but sadly it made 0 extra WHP on the dyno. Not even 5whp for the sticker that it comes with I'd say that that is pretty much what it does. It covers up a lot of the ugly bits of the engine: the alternator, the ac compressor, the inlet hose and PCV line from it, and the associated wiring and hoses in the area. It'll fit almost any currently available intake, and some forced induction kits. But best of all, it has the tool tray which I find is an extremely convenient place to put tools and hardware when you're working on your car. It might even be a convenient place to keep a burrito warm, although I have not tested this yet. Don't worry the intake is on it's way. This project was completed back in December, it just takes time to bring stuff to market Chase Engineering |

We can actually recommend some magnets that work very well for that specific application as we have confirmed their functionality on this same tool tray in a different product (Radiator Shrouds for the WRX) if you are interested. There is enough room under the cover with almost all intakes.
Good suggestion, and definitely one we've tried Chase Engineering |

Feel free to make a radiator shroud/front of bumper wrap around decoration piece to match, have it easy to take off, but ensure it goes from fender to fender to cover up the wiring messes some of us have with after market or retro fitted headlights (This is also something I would buy haha)
Cover up the head light clips and everything. Yummy in my car's tummy
