I get 35 days of PTO a year, given to me on my anniversary date, and it all expires on my next anniversary date, no carry over or sell back. I've never lost a vacation day because I didn't use it.

The only reason I work is so I can afford vacation.

I also badger my employees about taking their time off, even though they are on a separate plan and do have the option to carry some over.

I need to take more time off, we are just always so short pilots I feel bad sometimes. Not that I go during the high season, but I know my bosses are flying the line when I'm off and they have plenty of other things to be doing. They pretty much never deny me though if I ask for it. It also accrues based on the time we put it and I work mad overtime days so they accrue fast. This year because of the rona I haven't had too much OT but I will probably need to take some time off before the Spring even if I do sell back 10 days. Also I'm getting to the point where time is becoming more valuable to me then money, almost...

I'm doubling down on this comparison to the front bumper of the 2022. Yours looks better, though.

Jokes on them, I already added sideskirts to my gen1 BRZ two years ago!

I live in downtown San Jose and have lived in this same spot for 8+ years now. For the oddest reason, this year is the first I've ever lived here where there are several (yes, multiple) separate flocks of Canadian Geese that hang out at this park a couple of blocks away during the day. Basically, around sunrise they fly into the area and land at the park.

Then around sunset they all fly away.

Coincidentally whenever they go to/fro, they pass right overhead my apartment.

So I always hear the honking and other noises multiple times and can tell they're coming even from a block away because of how loud they are. Always the same times every day; well, the times adjusted for the sunset. So originally during daylight savings time in the summer they'd be leaving the area around 7pm or later, as the summer went on they left earlier and earlier till about 6:15pm. Then a couple weeks ago the time changed back to standard time, and now they consistently fly overhead every day around 5 to 5:15PM.

It's sooooo annoying.

But also kinda cool to hear and see them lol.

Geese are pretty cool, minus the epic shits they leave everywhere. I also don't like them flying around airports either. Rude creatures, sometimes, not very Canadian like...

They're mocking us. The Canadians are finding a few more reasons to do so than normal at present.

We really do try to make it easy. We have to. There is no way this could come naturally.
