No worries. Sorry that I responded so dryly a lot of times. In the middle of a business trip.

that's awesome. i wish he wasn't asking for so much for a donation. i wouldn't mind 10-20 bucks, but 60+ is pushing it to me.

It will be free in two months. The main issue was that he wasn't going to make the rom originally. I'm happy he did.

yeah i know... i was actually looking into other options to for my 2013 nexus because while i have otg working for my dac, it's been a real vampire to the tablet so instead of losing 3-5% power over night it loses like 12-15%. i don't want to wait 2 months! haha, but i guess i will if it'll save me 60+ dollars.

also i hope anyone that is doing a tablet install is using the tablettalk app. because it's amazing.

Double check media server is not running on your tablet.

Is tablettalk working with iOS now?

i actually switched from ios to android. the nexus 5 to be exact. i tried android on and off for years, but just couldn't stick to it, but i feel like now it's at a great point and is completely usable for a tech head like myself.

thanks for the tip. i'll have to check out if media server is running!

Yeah I've switched between iOS and android for years. Unfortunately due to my family utilizing iPhones and iPads through the school district we are so engrained into iOS that I can't escape it. Android though is fantastic. And I absolutely love my nexus 7.

$60+ !!!!???!!!

That's not a "donation" request, that's extortion! I absolutely agree that $10-$20 range makes sense to get in on the BETA...But enforcing a minimum of $60, especially when the finished product will be free!?!? What is he thinking?

You also must realize he had no intention of developing the kernel. If you want buy an old nexus. Or wait.

Don't get me wrong, I fully believe he deserves his due compensation for the work he's done.

I just think that a more reasonable business plan would've been to offer the BETA buy-in at $10 to $20, then have the finished product be at $30... "Suggested Donations", of course.
