Build it,.. is my answer,....As a side note .....pretty much stay off this forum now because of the ridiculous car snobbery that abounds (i.e. some posts on this very thread), its a Toyota/Subaru for Christ sake! ,.... lot of juvenile's trolling here. But if you bought this car for horsepower to TC or SC and cant afford to go forged with supporting mods I think a 2012/13 Mustang GT N/A would of been a wiser choice......just my opinion.

IMO a turbo BRZ/FRS should be compared against - turbo S2K (which are really fast), turbo 240sx, WRX/STI, Evo (a lot of fast ones), Civic SI, Mazda

I also think it sucks we are so limited in the power that can be made on pump gas, with the stock engine, because of the high compression ratio. I would love to do some pistons and rods are see what 20psi on pump does. E85 is a hassle.

that would be next for me im just taking it step by step by the end of the year i should be piston and rods also

Thanks for that. I think I've already talked to them before but I'll send them another email once I get my build up nailed down.

I did some searching and know hks have some on the horizon but community minds say its not much better than factory really, and is meant to support the stroker kit they're building.

I doubt they're coming out any time soon because evasive are doing some r&d for them ( I assume ) and are only running a piston/rod setup

Its always gonna be fast and reliable, if I wanted reliable and cheap I'd have called it a day at purchase or traded for something else by now.

I think the longer we wait the more the possibilities will be for this engine. The next generation WRX/STI will have a variation of the FA20,thats when things will get very interesting.
