The front springs are wound and done! Yes!

We're now waiting on the rear springs...which of course is a different work order...and why isn't that immediately after the front springs? Dunno! I'm sure there's a reason. But we know it's coming up very soon. Really excited to have the end in sight!

HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND EVERYONE!

*production springs will not be yellow. that would be...uhh...problematic with our other springs. i'm excited about the color we've chosen for the production springs.

Update:
We've got the prototype springs on and we're doing some testing! You may have seen pictures of the springs in the Bilstein thread. I'm not going to share pics of ride height yet because that will at least change slightly. Spring rates I think we're spot on and they feel awesome especially with the Bilsteins (and still very good with the OEM dampers).

Remember these are just prototypes. And they won't be yellow. The good news is we'll be able to go production pretty quickly when we sign off. More updates when I can...busy days over here.

I'm pretty much ready for these to drop.

Ive got Bilstein B6 shocks, with new top hats, boots and rear bump stops, 1" Subtle Solutions aluminum lift kit + 1.5" rear alignment kit, SPL Camber Bolts, Whiteline rear LCA, and Method MR502 16x7 +30 wheels.

Still need to put the tires on, but going with 215/65/16 General Grabbers.

I picked up the Chuhatsu springs a while ago in case these fell through, but I'd really prefer these.

Update: waiting on second set of prototypes. The spring rates on the first are spot on and feel great, but as mentioned the ride height was not exactly what we specified. We'll get another set in here soon. That should move quickly. Prototypes aren't usually "off" the specs like this but at least we have another good data point.

Testing with all OEM parts as well as Bilstein B6 with Pedders offset top mounts.

Would you be selling a complete set up with b6, the springs, and the pedders front mounts?

very interested in seeing how this setup does for people doing mild rallyx and winter driving

That's the plan! I'm testing them in that configuration and we currently also sell the Bilsteins. We need to set something up with Pedders but we'll get there.

Also, even though the ride height isn't where we want it with these first prototypes, the spring rates are and they are hysterical fun with Bilsteins on 195 winter tires around town. Also testing with 225/45/17 Michelin Pilot Sport 4s though...

Between this setup coming out and Speed Academy building a safari FRS... I'm so torn between a traditional track build vs a RallyX car.

Go dirt.... you will have an absolute ball, and the setups work really well on real world (back) roads too.

I did one RallyX event 2 years ago and had an absolute blast. However, I cracked my bumper (more than it already was) and ripped out a fender liner, so I haven't been back. But the bug is still inside me!
