Looking for shop/someone familiar with 86 electrical wiring
Hey guys,
I'm currently in the process of retrofitting an FR-S bumper onto my 2017+ refreshed 86 (main discussion regarding this found here), and while I've got paint/bumper installation covered, I'm looking for either a shop or an individual who can assist with wiring the FR-S turn signals. I think I have enough details on how to go about doing so, but the shop doing paint/installation was honest and upfront with me that while they are willing to attempt it, they've never done this specific request, and I would likely save money and be better off finding someone or some place more familiar. Anyone have any leads? Thanks ahead. |

IIRC, it shouldn't be hard to wire up the FRS turn signals. There are 3 wires connecting to the turn signal itself. It shows what the 3 wires are in your other thread but I think it did not mention that the 3rd wire is the parking light wire. Following this thread might also help as well (https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show....php?p=1012406) the color coordination on the headlight side should be similar. The only difference it that you should have an extra wire for the turn signals.
