Given how much it shakes at ~85 mph, I can only imagine. I've also been thinking about the amount of front end lift that is being generated to cause it to shake as much as it does

I suspect the hood vents are a big help. I recall reading a post where someone removed the trim at the base of the windshield and it made the stock hood vibration go away.

I've also played with the stoppers. They help, but I think the optimum solution is to vent the pressure.

I would always run hood pins on an aftermarket carbon fiber hood. CF/fiberglass connections simply can not be trusted for too long from a fatigue standpoint.

the stock hood already scares the crap out of me on windy days and on the freeway. I couldn't imagine what it would be like with a CF/FG hood since they are less structurally sound than the OEM one.

Tell me about it. I just hate the look of the hood pins I have seen. I think I will get nascar style ones so I don't have to cut too much of my hood, just drill a hole. Plus they are cheaper then those funny looking flush ones
