And the Genesis VGT TT at Monza...am I the only one who hates it? I had to restart so many times with just the first corner. I managed two laps and called it quits. I was getting so mad...

I haven't even set a time on that abomination. Mostly I keep spinning out and the braking zones are way off compared to other cars.

Deep Forrest (Race C) went a lot better considered that I started 11th and ended 7th by just basically surviving and squeezing thru tight doors left open.

I won't be able to attend though, driving down to Alabama to participate in an actual (real) race this weekend, haha.

That Miata freaking rips at Road Atlanta. Love the setup. Im convinced the engine revs up to 9K before it tops out.

Wish there was a way to install another tachometer/speedometer.

Yes that is one of my big peeves in the game (inability to install aftermarket tachs). Because of course in real life I'd swap in a supercharged V8 or 4 rotor...but not take the small step of an appropriate tachometer, haha.

Are you going to attend the Miata race my buddy is hosting tonight? I cannot make it; haven't returned from traveling yet.

I'll try to make the Thursday races. For sure I can't make the Monday races since I don't get off of work until 5pm pacific.

Interesting about the max weight. I don't really do weight reductions on cars, but it looks like I'll have to buy a couple more Skylines and apply weight reductions on it. Yeah, I like Skylines. LOL

I eventually came around on that one, got a few clean laps in. It almost felt like it could be a real car, albeit an insane one.

VGT.. I feel bad for Kaz. These things have to be a huge pride point for him/PD. Meanwhile the only thing I can think of that pisses his customers off more than a new VGT is microtransactions. It ran its course long ago.. I do think they should pull the plug on that project.

The new weekly challenges look OK. I'm not really looking forward to them any more though I obsessively have to complete them, usually in one sitting since I tend not to get multiple opportunities per week to play. So they've been a little chore-like. I realized this a few nights ago when I sat down and looked through my garage to find cars I'd like to drive just to drive, really enjoyed for first time in a while.

Change to the Thursday races. We're going to do 2 shorter races. 8 laps each.

I'm still out, so I don't think I'll make it back home in time today.

Just got home. Gotta mod one of the Skylines to fit the requirements.
