Especially since the original question pertained specifically to drag racing as absurd as that sounds to be the focal point of these two cars. The modern 2.0l and 2.5l turbo motors that VAG are putting out have incredible torque curves. Then you add a tune and wow! APR stage 3+ 2.0 l cars are trapping close to 130 although that includes a $5K hardware package.

It doesn't. It's a ridiculous comment not even worth acknowledging.

Man, BMWs must be the most amazing street cars ever - their wheel gap is close to zero in some cases!

So this has negative bump travel???

wheel gap != bump travel. Porsches have a lot of travel past the top of fender

I thought we were discussing about performance cars and about specific road conditions. No?

Porsches are nice cars and perform well, but they have also weak points. If you think that there is a car (or suspension) which is best on everything, then you are living in a dreamland.

Lotus 400+ meets this criteria quite well.

If you don't overheat and warp the rotors, then you're not driving it hard enough to overheat it and warp the rotors....Nothing else can be taken from that statement other than you're stupid enough to want to warp your rotors.

Jaden

p.s. Most non carbon ceramic rotors can be purposely warped on the track. Why you'd want to, I have no clue.
