Can I just opt for a C8 Z06 or GT4 RS? I mean since money's not an option.
Are we talking about something that's not super car prices say under 150k? This would be the short list.

As for the other two.

The Supra's aesthetics are a contrived mess of fake vents and overreaching aggressive styling. Pair that with the reason I would be interested in a Supra (in theory) would be because I like JDM cars and... yeah.

So I guess I'd rather have the GR86 and an additional 30k to walk around with.

Or what if the GR86 came with a bigger bore 3-cyl? Get the same (or arguably better) exhaust note with higher RPM. I'd think you'd satisfy a lot of people (myself included) who couldn't care for any 4-cyl exhaust note.

ehh i think a 3cyl would sound worse since imo the engine sounds better the more cylinders it has (except for the W16...that thing sounds like a diesel bus or a tractor....)

the 4cyl sound is highly dependant on how big a displacement the motor is. the smaller the motor, the more weedwacker/lawnmower it sounds.

It's also about firing order and timing. It's why a flat-plane crank v8 sounds so different than an American v8.

And beauty is in the eye (in this case ear) of the beholder. That sounds like complete, total, unequivocal, beyond any belief CRAP to me.

Here is an exhaust! That idle is a dream.

Yup, another good example.

180 crank parallel twin.

Ive driven many 3cylinders, and owned one aswell. They have a much more fun engine sound than modern 4 cylinder engines, which sounds like sewing machines. Most 3 cylinders sound like like a lower reving Porsche flat six, i reved out mine all the time just because it was fun. Though some of them are a bit to muted
