AMBIT RT8 18X9.5 +38

Hello everyone, I am new to the car scene and have already purchased coil overs for my 86. I also bought the Ambit RT8's 18x9.5 +38 and was wondering what a good tire setup would be. I plan to supercharge the car later on so I would love some assistance in picking the best tire size.

Note: I do not have camber plates.

Well, with a 9.5, you can run a pretty wide tire if you want to. You could run a 275 if you really wanted to. Just depends if you want a meaty tire or a stretched tire. If I was on a 9.5, I wouldn't use anything lower than a 255.

Would a 255 have any tire rub?
