If I had the money to spend on one.. and the desire to have one, I'd be very interested in the Bronco. Living in Florida does make it a bit of a useless vehicle to spend any real money on though. I think they did a great job on it even if it is like 5 years late.
I'm also hopeful it'll make my Ford shares worth more money

I have a 2019 Ranger and this uses the same 2.3L Ecoboost engine. If the 4 door larger Bronco has the same 7500lb towing capacity I might have considered trading up because I think Ford did great with this. Unfortunately, I'm a little let down by the towing capacity be oh well.
When it comes times for the Mrs to replace her aging Toyota Matrix, I wouldn't mind if she wanted to replace it with the Bronco - then we could do some fun overlanding trips when the little one is a bit older.

It's too early to tell if the 24 years of waiting is worth it. My dad still has his 1985 Ford Bronco, it is a well-maintained car that we still use it up to this day.

I've already spoken to my girlfriend about it and I'll be buying one once I pay off the 86.
Probably a two door since it's cheaper and appears to have decent space for people in the back. |

Maybe, or they will go with the top trim of the brand they like. I don't know if it will matter. The larger displacement v8 gets points, but the twin turbo v6 has more torque, port and direct injection, is easier to tune, is probably lighter, etc. On a separate note, my mom bought a Wrangler six months ago. It is ehh. Hopefully the interior on the Bronco is nicer. I like the looks of the Bronco much more. I would probably buy a Tacoma over a Jeep/Bronco for the utility, or a Suzuki Samurai to go off-road, as a larger adventure 4-wheeler, but I understand this will have a cult following and is ideal for many people.

I saw a picture of one in the wild. Nothing like the concept. Highly disappoint.

Overall, I'm liking it. Particularly since "they took the Wrangler platform and made it even more better". How can you go wrong with that!

Went out to the Ford site today and priced out a 4-door Bronco.
Top Spec Wildtrack version is about $58,000 with what I would add to it. (Basically the "LUX" spec which includes adaptive cruise control) A near "Base" unit (the Base with the Sasquatch package added) is about $43,000. A very base unit is $38,990. If I was putting down a deposit, I guess I'd have to go with the higher spec version. Unfortunately they don't have a "street trim" version. I know, what's the point in that, but honestly, if I bought one, it would go offroad very rarely and if it did, it would be sand not mud, with the occasional snow/ice street driving. They offer it in 7 colors that are some mix of white/black with a little blue or silver tint thrown in for good measure. The "Area 51" color isn't bad but I like the darker red. What I would really want though is Green. My version is below. Right now it's on my "next adventure" list. We'll see if it stays.
