The fit and finish look a lot better in this video than in the release presentation. Then it looked like a bunch of hacked together sheet metal, but this looks better. Still, the general look of the vehicle is subjective, but considering the volume they will be pushing out the doors, being unique is probably a smarter strategy.

funny how everyone is talking about ford chasing the jeep market, but everything about this hummer looks like GM is silently chasing them as well. just no one is talking about it that way.

Let’s be honest. The Cybertruck is very loosely a truck just as this, and the original Hummer, are loosely an off-road vehicle. The tough, stainless steel skin and basic utility features are at best some gimmick to add some utility to the design, which is made to look like something from the 80’s Blade Runner. Why? Because Musk wanted something different and something different will likely sell to an audience wanting something different. Most of these vehicles will ride around cities on dubs like most trucks from premium brands. Nevertheless, this is a good product GM has designed, and it is wise using a premium brand like HUMMER to develop, showcase and premiere a modern, futuristic, EV truck, and move beyond an EV built on an ICE chassis—the Chevy Bolt.

When you compare it to what most other EV's cost 112K is not too bad. I was expecting far more expensive then that.
