Not to mention the extra drivetain loss of RWD vs FWD ~4-5% so around 250whp on E85 and 235whp on 93oct. Still great for mostly OEM components.

Have not watched the series, and just by looking at the image from the second video it's obvious there are several parts added to make the power.

If someone needed that clarification that a bone stock K24 can magically make 70 more WHP, they have bigger issues.. lol

E85 will probably not make a huge difference. The guy in the video should have done a higher compression build, unless E85 wasn't going to be always available or unless he plans to boost the motor.

I was getting into some K20C1 videos, dynos and webpages today. It is really a shame that Honda doesn't sell this motor. Ford and Chevy will sell someone a myriad of crate motors because why not take my money? But Honda will not sell a K20C1 crate motor to just anyone. Someone has to be a part of sanctioned racing. This is lame. Getting into this motor, it would be a good deal for anyone wanting a turbo K motor out of the box, and for $6500, that is a good deal. If I was considering a swap, such a motor would be high on my list. What is crazy is that used K20C1 motors from wrecked cars are 50-100% (+) more expensive.

Kinda like the 3SGE swaps. I think the exhaust is fine. Those water pipes, on the other hand, would push the motor forward. Could be a problem for packaging.

I like the engine and the innovations over the k20a. I like the K20c over the K24a because 86x86 for gt86.

Why would it be cheaper? You start with a more expensive engine and use the same 150m.

It's an M130, not M150. For an LS swap the ECU solution can be had cheaper, which I believe is what najaray is referring to. You can get, for example, a Haltech Elite 2500, or an Emotion or even now there's an AGT Engineering Canbus translator and all of those will save you some money when compared with this K24 swap (obviously talking only about the ECU).

There are other major savings going K24 vs LS though, like no need to modify the tunnel which is one of the biggest deals when doing an LS swap.
