It's not on the website...they have to order it in. I don't remember the exact price I was quoted, but It was over $10 per litre. If you can get a 4L jug for $40, that's a better deal.

$74.99 seems to be the best deal, atm, on eBay. I'd like to pay $60ish.

Free shipping on orders over $250....$51.50 for 6 quarts i.e. one oil change....buy 5 = 1.5 to 2 years worth of oil changes. Problem solved.

Ive used Mobil 1 full synthetic on both my Supras (inc turbo) and never any issues, oil never broke down under extreme heat(when my cooling system belt broke 3 miles from home in summer). brz engine runs great. my subie dealer uses mobil 1 too. i think your engine is breaking in. after your first oil change you got rid of metal shavings. I might try 5-30w or 10-30 next time. Motul and Ams oil are also great.

Meh. I like to buy all my car stuff from the same vendor if possible and deal with people that I have good relations with. Then again, I'm willing to cough up more coin in return for great customer service, so maybe our priorities are different.

Only used Motul in the 2008 STI and never lost a drop of oil. I didn't want to chance losing oil (more fearful of losing oil pressure with that glass oil pickup...) with Mobil1 in the STI. Nearly everyone who has used Mobil1 in a turbo Subaru motor has had issues with the oil disappearing. Maybe it will work in the BRZ/FR-S, but I'm not chancing it. |

DDs using most any brand shoudn't see too much consumption, I'd think. Most 0W-20s have fairly high NOACK values, however, so if you're going under heavy load, ie higher oil temps, you're bound to see some usage on longer drains. This is why most guys tracking their cars are using heavier weight oils.

I have no idea why someone would modify a WRX, and still run the factory recommended minimum oil grade, especially since 40 weights are allowed in severe conditions and required in hot temps. Nobody has shown that M1 0W-20 is not a good choice for a BRZ/FR-S. The 0W-20 Toyota Genuine Motor Oil is even made by ExxonMobil. -Dennis Last edited by bluesubie; 03-25-2013 at 11:44 AM. |

I just picked up some 0w20 Eneos Sustina from http://ft86speedfactory.com/. I will let everyone know how the UOA comes back from the oil once its time to change. I also just installed a K&N drop in air filter...will be interesting to see a UOA with this filter also.
