TPMS Spoof
Hey all, I need some machine code and other gurus that want to contribute to a project.
My idea is this. Use 315MHz RF transmitters for Raspberry Pi/Arduino such as these (http://www.amazon.com/SMAKN%C2%AE-31...eywords=315MHz) Spoof to IDs and Data from the factory TPMS sensors. Then, all you need to do is carry around a pocket sized device that transmits factory TPMs information, without the need for the actual sensors. This might be a great solution for those who hate the light but didn't get sensors with their new wheels. Could be a $20 solution. For you coders and other techies out there, what do you guys think? I can work on building the physical devices, just would love some help on the actual machine coding. I'd imagine I need to get the data pulled from factory wheels and decode it, then simply encode the transmitters to send out the same data.

Has anyone tried this yet?
http://www.instructables.com/id/Repa...-Out-Computer/ It's a possible solution as well. But I'd like to do this spoofer first for fun

So you'd basically need to know the stock oem TPMS ids which can probably be ripped from carista OBD2 app, then the Pi or arduino just transmits on whatever frequency it uses the same info, so you need to know the communication protocol

I'm not so sure you'd need the protocol if you're just RF signal spoofing. Basically it's a capture and retransmit the way i'm theorizing.
Your way, yes you'd need to re-encode the info into the Tx signal. I just got my transmitters in today so I'm going to build this week and see whats up.
