Anyone know what inner/outer diameter the heater hoses are? Specifically the one from the back of the block to the throttle body. Iirc it's like 900mm but I need the brand/spec so I can order a replacement.

A 900mm ID hose would be quite large

So after about 4 month of serious deliberation as to which direction to go, I think I'm going to go with the Sprintex 210 kit! This was infact the first kit I looked into and sparked my interest in forced induction.

Few questions though for the experts:

How hard it is to upgrade to the 335 once engine is built etc? Does the manifold have to change or is it just the intake tubing at the back of the SC and the SC itself?
I'm buying a used kit from Bullet Australia who are the guys that designed the kit for the 86. About $4000 AUD which is 2k less than new. Not too bad a price seeing as there are none here second hand in Aus.

Any issues I should be wary of, check for with a second hand kit or preventatives for the kit when installing? I've read over install notes etc etc, just looking for general tips.

I got a used 210 off 'Seans 86/BRZ buy and sell' for just over $3k.
So happy with the result. I got the Bullet/MRT emissions tune so I could get it certified easily.

My initial plan was to then change to a delicious tune with e85 after i get it all cleared next week; but to be honest, I'm pretty happy with it as is. Its a conservative tune so hopefully the risk of the motor breaking is less.

Does anyone know if the OTS delicious flex fuel tune is conservative, or is it pushing the limits?

I don't think its "conservative" but its not pushing the limits either-it seems a lot of us are running that tune, with great results(I'm one! although, I'm on the flexfuel tune, but still...its the OTS one they sent me).

I ended up getting a "second hand" kit from Sprintex directly. It's their SPS kit which is a slightly re-designed 210. Saved over 3k on the kit and it's only been on their dyno. Looks very very clean and hardly used. Now just have to wait until March to get it tuned!

On another note, any Aussies here gone through NSW Engineering or QLD Modplating with this kit?

Would anyone with an intercooled 210 be interested in upgrading to the 335?

Offering my 335 charger with manifold (just saves having to take it apart) and intake tube for your 210 with manifold and intake tube with $1,600 my way - saving you about $1,000 off the RRP of the upgrade kit

He's willing to sell the whole 335 kit or help someone upgrade their 210 kit to 335 kit, at which point he'd sell the 210 kit to continue the funding of his new project. I was going to but ran into some $ complications.
