Automobile magazine has a first drive up of the BRZ:
http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews...brz/index.html Generally a rave but they knock the car on one characteristic I've been concerned about - steering feel from the fully electric-assisted rack. Quote:

They definitely left some room under those fenders for wider tires (not too wide, mind you). Looks like this car is going to be great! Thanks Scion FR-S for posting this up!

Are these the first pics of the US spec BRZ? Seems to be the Limited trim level with the leather/alcantra seats and fog lamps.

Could this also be the limited? It has half leather/alcantara seats, fogs, decklid, seat warmers?

Interesting, a rather well articulated review. The writer seems to "get" the point of the car very well, along with the heritage and thesis a simple sports car is supposed to achieve: putting a smile on the drivers face.
I am at odds with the steering feel comment. First he says it's natural feeling, but then he claims he can feel the EPS motor damping the steering feel. So, natural, with a filter? I suppose that's better than artificial and jittery [MINI Coupe]. Combining that with EVO's comment about the steering feeling better than the new 911's EPS, that means the steering is good, maybe great, but not as amazing as a benchmark manual or hydraulic rack.

Wasn't it also mentioned somewhere that push-button start was Limited model only?

Anybody notice that the last picture is a guy in the Scion FR-S? You can tell by the key in ignition and the HVAC controls(Scion Fuked up here)

No limited badge... but if it's true that there will be two versions, then I'd have to assume yes..
