I dunno. I just know since they moved a lot of their electronics manufacturing plants they have had a lot of quality issues. I know a lot of their stuff was coming out of Brazil for a while.

Took some digging to confirm what I thought but the answer is no. They claim to have though.

Now that makes me want to dig into the old myth of an anti-lock brake test causing the car to crash because the brakes never locked up, and thus the car never stopped.

Come on, don't fool yourself and me. There is no insult to my country? All is a shared meat? If you like your country, for a second try to put yourself in my position. What would you feel? You request an apology and get that capital T in return.

Anyway, it is crystal clear that I do not fit to this forum. I wish I did. I had really good times in this forum, thank you guys; it was joy and a great experience to know a little of many of you. So long.

@korhun, hate to see you leave. I think we just have a communication/language issue here. I don't believe anyone intended to insult you personally or Turkey. You belong amongst us group of auto misfits as much as anyone here.

Insult was ever intended. It was a simple play on word as a pun.
Don't go away! You are one of my favourites!

Korhun, I don't post much, but I do read a lot of your comments. All I can say is that it's not crystal clear to me that you don't fit in. You sound like every other fairly intelligent poster on this forum. And since you are, you have to trust me that no one was trying to insult you or your country. Admittedly, it got awkward, but that was actually an attempt to let you know that you do fit in. Not everything in the English language is clear, and sometimes intent gets misconstrued. I think that's what happened here.

I'm of German heritage (well 75% the rest is mostly Irish)... Of course I've only been there once (besides changing planes in the major airports). I did visit a castle that bears my last name. In German though sometimes last names are just town names. "John von Berlin" is merely John of Berlin, could have been a street sweeper not necessarily King of the Castle. (Just an example much smaller town only 3 cobblestone streets to this day). Not sure if you are German @korhun I missed how this all started but as a guy who was born in the states and knows the culture over here (and an honorary Canadian as my job takes me there almost every week) I can promise nobody meant any deep offense to your culture. Anyway I had a diesel 1983 Mercedes 240D that I blew up trying to go super fast on low oil and didn't pull over immediately tried to make it off an exit but I know that would have lasted me to this day if I took care of it the way it was by several owners before me.
