IMO the move will make the Scion badged ones ever so slightly cheaper since many people prefer the Toyota badge much more. There might be some specific models, especially the 10-series and RS ones which will undoubtedly hold their value a tad more. It is impossible to say for sure though

Garage
$30,000 out the door after taxes, fees, tints, wheel locks & extended warranty. That was October 2014 with financing from dealer at .09% interest rate.

The badging it's self will have zero impact on price regardless of what the badge snobs say. The value of the pre 17s could actually go up depending on how well the 17s go over. People may want the more basic early FRS and that could drive the price up or the new features could blow the old ones away and they could plummet. My personal guess is there will be no real change beyond the normal reduction that happens every year.
