At the bottom of the first post there are attached files, download the one called "WW Definitions v115" and find the definition file for your rom in there,
Go into your definition files manager and delete the one youre currently using, and replace it with the correct one from that file in the USDM folder. They have the same names as original OFT xmls, so I renamed mine WW OFT ZA1JA01C
Those defs will have the required tables defined and youll be good to go 👍

Alright, I got the new definitions in there and everything seems to be the same!

Now, if I'm reading your posts correctly, you no longer are adjusting the Base timing B and achieving the same result without the low speed jerkyness correct? I'll post a screenshot of everything I did, I set it all the same way you have yours, but I didn't touch B timing.

And then the last part that has me slightly nervous, is I have never edited my own tune and flashed it. So I want to go over my process to make sure I didn't do anything wrong on the software/editing side of things. I got the A01C def file from the thread you posted, everything seems to be showing correctly including LC/FFS, I've saved my editing as a new image and it went onto my OFT fine. Should I be good to go tomorrow to flash the car??

@snapplepat yessir everything looks good
Kudos on be extra careful and double checking everything, thats good a practice
for the most part I haven't experience weird low speed jerking, if you dont like the 10km/h disable speed you could raise that to whatever you want really,
And yes, base timing b is left untouched, and you get the same results but without having to feather the gas

Lol, I double check because I would much rather spend the money on the Flex fuel kit and clutch instead of a new ECU and whatever dealer coding goes into that.
But thanks for your advice , I'll report back here tomorrow once I get a few miles on the new set up and hear what its like. Maybe set up a go pro tomorrow to hopefully see some flames!

Tonight I may have to go for a drive and set up my go pro somewhere on the rear bumper....
A co-worker followed me into work the other day and said both sides of the exhaust were spitting fire on downshifts 😂
Need to see it myself.

Can someone post their tunes on here? I can't make heads or tails of this stupid app to tweak the stock tunes. It'd be really cool if we started a database of people's tune files here on this site.

@guybo
I remembered you asking this a while back, you mentioned your cal id was F40C so i went to take a stab at it.
I think the reason why you cant make heads or tails of it, is the xml definition file found in Waynos thread that I linked must have an error
I downloaded a fresh version of the defs and the tunes of oft website and couldnt make them work, all kinds of data mis matches and the values in the map were all over the place. Do not upload a tune if its been modified in romraider with those defs.

*edit, no issues with the definition files, found a read me file (who ever reads those) and the defs are only for roms that are B01C or B01D internally. The F40C are indeed F40C internally so thats why it wont work for you

You know I read the readme files and looked up what I was doing wrong but couldn't figure it out. Thanks for checking that out for me.

Am I SOL then or is there a work-around?

Well after making sure it was F40C I tried using Td-ds romraider defs for your cal id. They worked, but there were alot of missing tables, and the ones you need were not fully defined yet. So you could ask @Td-d to locate the rest of those tables for you,
I personally have no idea how to locate them or add references to the def file.

Other posssible workaround ? Ask @steve99 or @Wayno about using a B01C rom on your car, modified to look like F40C to OFT (like oft does with all our other roms, think its just changing the 3rd instance of cal id but i dont know for sure) and see if you can load that into your car so you can use Waynos defs.
I beleive i read somewhere that B01C was compatable with cars with F40C but i am not 100% sure, sooo wait for their input as they have a better grasp of this stuff

I think i may be in the same boat as @guybo I have f40c cal id and when i open the same tables that @snapplepat posted my tables for Base timing idle (in gear)(above speed threshold) only has one row and after 2000 rpm it looks to go crazy. however this is off my current tune on my car. stg1 with the grimmspeed intake scaless adjusted and has been running fine for 5k miles. Here is a screen shot of what i mean.

Is it possible to modify the tables to get the crackle or should i stay away from them?

I would stay away from them, unless theyre defined properly it is highly recommeneded to no change them at all
