Man kids recognize a nice car when they see one. Because I work strange hours, I'm usually taking my lunch break when the busses are going around dropping kids off after school and sometimes I'll get stuck behind a bus and the kids at the back always stare and wave at me.

Kids do have better taste in car. I once had a mom come up to me when I was filling up and ask if his kid can come look at my car as its his favorite car. I let the kid sit in my car and he was sooo happy. He knew more about my car than I did!!

I once also had an 70+ old gentleman with a cane in his hand come to me in a gas station and compliment my ride and then he told me the story how he has owned subarus since then first got released on this side of the ocean and how far they have some since then.

Had that happen to me once kids are hilarious, recently one kid almost slipped and fell looking at the car after an ice storm. I was following a bus once too and a bunch of kids were in the back looking at the car waving so I smiled, flashed my headlights downshifted sped up and they started going crazy then I ducked into my neighborhood.

He rolled down his window and started yelling at me "MY CAR HAS PLENTY OF POWER THANK YOU VERY MUCH", continued to ramble on and then revved at me. Little did he know... the person in the V6 Toyota Rav-4 sitting in the 3rd lane was watching the whole thing and had the capability to smoke us both. The FRS owner then proceeded to attempt a large burnout when the light turned green...but it was obvious that he didn't think to turn off the traction control. The Toyota Rav-4 walked all over him, as I accelerated at a normal pace to the 45 MPH speed limit laughing the whole way.

My plate, for those wondering what started this wonderful encounter....

Bwhahaha My buddy sent me the link to this post. He said he read it and immediately thought of me. After reading it, I had to sign up to post.

One of my cars is a 2010 RAV4 4x4 V6. I love suckering in ricers and anyone else who dares underestimate it. It's faster than my Supra was stock, faster than our 2015 Escape w/the 2L Ecoboost and AWD and I haven't tested it yet, but I'm sure it'll destroy my Vibe GT, though I like to tell myself it'll keep up w/o too much embarrassment from a 3rd gear pull.

I will drive up there and stalk you down just to give you a wave.

Or we can meet at the border and wave at each other so I won't have to go get a travel document. :P

Here's a good one. I was helping my buddy button up his turbo 6.0l truck. We had just got off the highway doing tuning pulls. Cooling it down. Here's comes the local turbo brz. Revving and everything. I guess he saw us doing pulls at 1 am. He just kept revving. My buddies truck is pretty quiet. Like really quiet. But it has dumps! He turned em on and the look on the kids face! Priceless. Especially when he stomped it and smoked both tires for a whole block.
