It's just with the OEM alternative, it's 100% reversible and it uses the same mounting points which should be more secure but it probably doesn't make a difference. Just a piece of mind, plus a more lighter wallet lol

I did this mod with a small Honda Accord coolant reservoir. I drilled a hole for the top and bottom and mounted the factory rubber grommet to the top and factory pump to the bottom, and then I made brackets aout of aluminum to mount to the factory bolt holes. See My Build for more pictures.
