Retro Panasport, Mini Lite Style options

One thing leads to another.

I'm looking for possible "retro" style options and like the look of the old 8 spoke wheels like the Panasport or Minilites. If this isn't an option I'm open to other retro looking options.

Enkei makes a similar style, unsure if it's in production for 5x100 still. https://enkei.com/shop/wheels/classic/compe/

I like it, though the largest size in 5x100 is 16x8 with a 25mm offset. I'll have to figure out what that would look like. Will they fit shows that to be nearly an inch of poke over my current setup. I have a feeling this won't work for me.

Honestly I know next to nothing about wheel fitment, which is why I got cookie cutter 17x9 +35 RPF1 lol. Looks like they should fit according to the post above

i thought the enkei's were discontinued.

the only other one was rota. they made a different style i wanted, but gave up on. apparently, they undercut costs by using slightly different materials--they look pretty, but probably aren't the best for track duty. and the authorized vendors are everywhere on whether any specific size/style/offset can be ordered despite rota's site saying literally everything is an option. basically, if you can't find a specific offset/lug pattern/color/style in stock right this second at a vendor, there's a high likely hood no one can/will get it. and even worse, if 1 wheel were to be damaged somewhere in the future, it's even less likely to get just 1 for a replacement...

My venture into retro style has been like the plot line from National Treasure. I have an extra set of Enkei PX-10 wheels for autocross, so I will take my time and keep my eyes open for retro options to use for daily.

I've read that about Rota and the supply chain in 2022 also isn't favorable for niche items like this. But I'll keep it on the back burner.

I have the Enkei Compe, attached a photo of how they fit. I've got -2 camber all-around and it's flush with the body. According to Will They Fit, the poke is pretty much identical to the common 17x9, +35 (which actually pokes out a couple mm more). However, I also heard the 16x8, 5x100 size is discontinued from another member who tried to buy a new set a while back...unless they brought it back. Might want to contact Enkei directly to confirm if you're interested.

Regarding Rota, in the past (summer of 2017), I was surprised to be able to do a special/custom order for a set of Slipstreams to my specific specs (16x8, +45, Full Polish Steel Grey) that a vendor did not stock. Even though I purchased 1 set, they had Rota make 5 sets so that my set could be made. The remaining sets, I saw they posted on their website/eBay/Amazon. The vendor I used was 18racing.com, but not sure if they'll do that now in 2022 with the supply chain issues.

Panasports are very diverse and highly customizable. They are used on EVERYTHING in vintage racing. They have a 10" wheel for the OG Mini. You could probably order exactly what you want straight from Panasport or a good Panasport vendor.

Watanabe's dont have a huge selection for 5x100. Mostly 15 and 16" and maybe 8.5 wide. They are also $600 a wheel.
