Koyo Radiator w/ Dual SPAL fan install

Got off my lazy butt today and installed my Koyo radiator with dual SPAL fans.

Still waiting for more parts to come in prior to final install...still got tons more to do to this BRZ before we can call it "complete" lol.

Yes Sir!

Trying to do it big out here in Sin City.

Got a brand new DSport FA225 engine build going on.

Wanted to make it challenging so I opted to stick with the underdog and keep it an FA build.

We are going for 700+ hp range and we'll see how it goes.

So for now, I am rewiring my entire engine harness with Raychem DR25 heatshrink covered with expandable carbon loom to avoid any damage to the wiring system in the bay.

Doing my best to give this motor the best chance of longevity by fabricating direct air ducts to my oil cooler, intercooler, etc.

Either way, hope it turns out for the best.

Thanks for the comment 🤙

Ace

got a few things done to the car today.

leather-covered gauge hood. i don't care about the material, but this should cut down on the plastic reflections when driving into the sun!

took the bumper off without breaking anything. even went back on without issues!

modded the intake for #reasons. i was really hoping it would make for a more rumbly exhaust note. it didn't.

new horn

custom extended remote pump

Cracked the case! Little shit with no license parked in faculty parking lot. Unfortunately there was a tree in the way but another camera got him. I had to talk to his dad because this kid lacks communication skills like he lacks the ability to not hit a car three feet away from the line.

I predict you will be bleeding from many locations before finishing this...The harness is ridiculous. I've been slowly reducing the size of mine but will be removing everything I don't need from a spare harness at some point and installing it. I took the HVAC box right out for easier access. Don't know if you're keeping that.

Yep, bleeding from both hands lol.

Umm, HVAC? not sure what box that one is? Are you referring to the VDC module?

Either way, I'm not removing any boxes, if anything, the only box I will mess with is the VDC control module, which is in the engine bay.

Because I am replacing the hard steel brake lines with the Chase Bay's dual caliper booster delete kit, which comes with its own lines, I will most likely relocate the VDC module box into my cabin somewhere?

Not sure where, but maybe up in the dash area?
