I would like stock behavior

Thankfully, mine worked perfectly out of the box!
I just put a brick behind each front tire. Then you can disengage the e-brake without the car rolling away.

Service message for Diode Dynamics and for all users of "Always ON":

I INFORM YOU THAT IS POSSIBLE TO INSTALL brown relay OPENING THE FUSE BOX BY THE ENGINE SIDE.
You can see a little side and slide panel (red square in pic) along height of fuse box. Open it (from bottom to upper side) and you can avoid to stretch the little black wire onto cover of fuse box.
Install relay and insert black wire inside the fuse box.

Nick, Paul !!!!! installed and all is gone very well on EDM BRZ!.

Thanks for everyone's continued patience. We shipped a bunch last week, and we expect to be caught up and stocked for immediate shipment by the end of this coming week. Finally!

Glad to see that most of you are getting perfect functionality right out of the box. If you think you do have a problem, please double-check that your stock DRL is activated (without the module) and then contact us if you're still seeing issues. Thanks!

Installed mine today. Worked great right out of the box. I saw @Trap63's note about the black relay wire after I was done. Went back and took a look and I think in my case the way I've got things tied up I need the black wire to be a few cm longer for it to work better via the engine side. When you slide the side panel back on it will tend to pull on the wire. I decided to put it back the way I had it - I used a little piece of electrical tape to both protect the wire and lodge it into a groove to keep the wire in place as the fuse box lid is replaced.

Thanks @DiodeDynamics for a great product!

I appear to be having the same problem. (ordered on 2/17, and arrived today) I performed the simple install, and neither the DRL or boomerang come on unless I switch on the lights.

As you recommended, I removed the brown relay and replaced the stock one back, and now it works just like normal OEM. While testing I had the car running in neutral with parking brake off(brick behind wheels).

Forgot to add that the DRL's did come on now with the lights turned on.

Just as we've mentioned to the others above, this module does not affect the stock DRL function in any way, it just also sends the power to boomerangs.

If your DRLs are not coming on at all during the day as DRLs, you do not have them switched on. Thanks!

I ordered mine on 2/14 and still haven't received a working one if it makes you feel any better about your wait time.
