Do the twins have a certain "driving cycle" that forces all the tests to run?

I'm also having a hard time getting my DT Flash n Go tune on my JRSC to pass all OBD readiness tests. I flashed the non flex fuel tune with all tests turned on as well and plugged my rear O2 sensor back on. My original CARB tune took about two tanks of gas or roughly 400 miles to show all sensors ready. I'm about 500 miles in right now and still showing non ready for O2, catalyst, and evap. Since we can't force readiness with Ecutek, what is the official 'drive cycle' for a 2013 BRZ to get these tests to complete?

There is a specific cycle, I did it before my testing at the referee station. Post 24 and 25 from mad_sb and foobar in this thread should help:

A drive cycle always begins with a cold start?

Not sure about always, but I do remember beginning from a cold start and it eventually setting all of mine to ready except for the rear o2. (which was turned off anyway)

Can anyone with the flex fuel kit comment on how it affects your obd readiness tests? With the rear O2 sensor unplugged and being used for the E85 sensor instead, which tests don't get complete?

Here's a list of the available ones, per Torque:

Misfire
Fuel System
Components
Catalyst
Evaporative Sys
O2 Sensor
O2 Sensor Heater
EGR System

You can only have one "incomplete" to pass emissions testing, at least here in Texas

Thanks

I can confirm that only one is left not ready, and I believe it says something like o2 sensor not ready. California has the same standard of one code allowable and I passed with that code still on the ECU at a referee station.

Excellent, that's just what I wanted know. Although I don't know how it can pass catalyst efficiency without that rear sensor. I've had a lot of old cars in my life and getting that #^!&!#@!! sticker has been a pain in the arse on many an occasion! I wanted to make sure I'm not setting myself up for a struggle come renewal time. Those rules can be ever so inflexible...

ugh... government

No luck with getting the proper drive cycle down to getting O2, catalyst and evap sensors to show ready today. I did two cold starts and drove around today, at least 15 minutes each time with 1/2 tank of gas, steady slow acceleration and constant speeds. I agree, with the rear O2 sensor plugged back in, I should at least get O2 sensor and catalyst to show ready, especially with a stock catted exhaust manifold still present.

I'm just antsy and wanting to plug the DT flex fuel kit back into the rear O2 port and run e85 again. Just need to pass emissions...thank goodness I'm starting this process early.

Has any JRSC owners gone with the high boost pulley yet? If so, definately want to see the dyno numbers on them.

Mine should be going in very soon (less than 3 weeks). I had to wait for my amuse exhaust system which took forever to get.

Also debating the e85 thing because theres almost no gas stations that sell it near me. I might add a meth kit though because I sometimes ship the car out west where 93 doesnt exist.

Will keep everyone in the loop.

My tuner pretty heavily recommended e85 for high boost for its detonation resistance and cooling.

The gains are with e85. It's a requirement along with a tune, I think. My dyno is 370, my 91 pump numbers were 290. (I think, I don't have it in front of me) I'm assuming that 93/94 would be marginally better.
