I don't think so, unless you modify the mounting brackets on the Perrin intake. The JRSC intake tube is closer towards the front of the car to make space for the supercharger. If you're concerned about the intake being in the engine bay and acting as a "hot air intake", don't worry. The JRSC filter is placed right up against the intake opening and intake temps are about the same as the stock intake (which is essentially a CAI).

There is enough room for the filter if you'd like to use that.

I wasn't worried about the air. I was just wondering cause i already have the intake and I don't want to get rid of it if i can avoid it. Thanks

It *can* but there's nothing wrong with selling a used intake for an upgrade to Forced Induction either

I hate to noob up this thread, this is my first post. I don't own the FRS yet but I planning on owning one soon!. After a lot of reading the Jackson Racing SC looks like what I want.

From my understanding starting with a stock FRS adding the Jackson kit with factory tuning I should see close to 265hp.

My questions are this, with the stock radiator and jackson oil cooler will this hold up in Charleston SC? Do I need more cooling?

Second, factory tuning locations? how do I find these?

I am pretty stoked to get into this club, thanks in advanced!

265 whp which is about 290-300 crank hp.

Stock radiator is proven to be great and track tested. JROC is track tested.

If you are buying the kit that comes with a CARB tune then you don't need a tuning location. They send you the tune and you flash it into your ECU and you are good to go.

If you have a windows laptop, you can flash the factory tune onto the car yourself

I'm feeling like my recirc valve isn't working properly all of the time... Are there any downsides (besides fuel economy) to removing it and retuning for it being gone?
