Drivers side seat heater switch light doesn’t illuminate but heater works

So the title pretty much says it all. Has this happened to anyone before? Haven’t gotten in there with a multimeter to test all the connections to spec but the harnesses are plugged in just fine. Passenger side works no problem, with the light. Ultimately I know need to just test the connections, but I'd assumed that if the light didn't turn on, the heater wasn't working. At least that's what the repair manual says and the wiring diagram doesn't seem to tell much of a story.

Thank you LimitedSlip for either your unparalleled recall or search skills. I wasn’t able to find that thread in my searches.

Here is the secret to finding stuff on this forum:

1. Don't use the forum search facility.

2. Use Google to do a "site specific" search.

Here is what I entered into Google in this instance:

site:ft86club.com heater switch light

I'm not particularly fond of Google but this specialized search is handy.
