The beeping at 7000 RPM can be turned off (or set to beep beyond fuel cutoff) right? Anyone know for sure?

I imagine it's similar to the 1st gen model when you can program for different RPMs and turn the buzzer on or off, based on your personal preference.

I still don't understand why i need to see the hp/tq curve on the infotainment.. can anyone explain this? Are there people buying these cars that fetishize horsepower and torque?

I think its just filler for fun.

And in the first gen Its probably a troll visual because of the big obvious torque dip that is shown lol.

Thanks. I'd be happy to keep the shift light, but the beep is a horror haha

Pure marketing gimmick, just like the HP/TQ screen in the BMWs, totally useless but ppl seem to enjoy watching the needle reach there bragging right numbers

It's going to be even funnier when the cars been boosted and it doesn't change.

If I'm not mistaken, the yellow portion also adjusts based on where you set the beep.

So if you have it at 3,500, the yellow portion will fill from 3,500~redline.

You can keep the rpm warning where you want, and have no beep.
