Picked up a TRD exhaust. Got it for a steal of a deal.

Needed a bit of TLC. Half way through shot. A little elbow grease and cleaned up decent. All the corrosion is gone.

Nice work. I see the steel wool. What else are you using here?

I started with steel wool and cleaning vinegar to remove the carbon gunk.
Then steel wool with metal polish.
Finished with microfiber and metal polish.

For batteries, I like Optima in this car. I bought the wrong one for my Taco on Amazon. Looked it up and it fit my FRS. I swapped it into the stock battery's place and moved the OEM battery into my solar powered shed.

Shed lighting is a 15w solar charger on a battery that runs a 400w/120v cheapo inverter. Works well running a couple LED lights. Been running the shed on used car batteries since 08. I used to be the typical DIY car guy who'd just wait until they died and I had to. Now I just replace them on typical schedule before they die, about ~4-5 years here in PNW with lead acid wet cells. Much more with AGMs. Then, I shuffle them to the shed to live out their dying days and recycle them when a new replacement comes out of the rigs. Been working well for me, and I don't deal with dead batteries anymore.

Back to the car, it's been in there about 5 years now, still not a hint of fading power. It can sit two weeks while we go on vacation, come back, fires right up.

That looks really good. Kinda reminds me of some old ferraris(might be wrong), but not that it's a rip off or bootleg. Where did you get it?

Pretty sure it's a 430 Scuderia ripoff haha. But I still love it. It's by Dangun Racing. Found it on Amazon Japan and asked Jesse Streeter to import it for me
