Saab was a big fan of this and made it standard on most of their cars haha

No speed chime. Even my GMC Sierra does it, but the truck hits 120km.h, gives you one "ding" and that is it. My 86 hits 120km/h and it starts "ding, ding, ding" sounds like the seatbelt chime but is for speed.

Will drive you batty if you consider the legal posted speed limit between Dubai and Abu Dhabi is 140km/h....

I'm running the US spec , so it might possibly be available on the Europe settings.. ?

Yes.. I believe so.. The other options are listed to select.. I just didn't try..

Can this thing re-program the throttle sensitivity? I would like it less sensitive on initial tip-in (more progressive, as in don't go from 10 to 25% open just b/c I touched the pedal) and have it speed up at the end (get closer to 100% at floored)?

Nope, unfortunately not. If you have an ECUtek reflash your tuner MAY be able to accomodate that request.

Thanks, I have ordered the cable already but just wanted to check. I know it is possible to remove the chime but my tuner told me he can't remove it. Hoping that this cable can...

Ok, cable arrived and messed around last night. Can't find anything about the speed sensitivity or the speed chime/buzzer.

I need help here since I know you guys in the states do not have this problem. Not sure about Aus or South Africa or Europe for that matter.

It is driving me up a wall!!!!

@DriftEightSix Did you ever figure this out? The US 10 Series FR-S/86 is getting the LED/HID and they turn off the DRL LED at night. Wondering if you found a way to keep them on.

i've been using techstream to collect logs after my turbo installation, and it's worked well. the response time is pretty decent without a bunch of PIDS selected, but still slower than an actual logger. very useable, though.
