Cedric’s 10 Series Build Thread
My friend took pictures of my car with the TC105s the other day, and they turned out pretty well.
Additionally, I purchased a Tomei Type 80 catback from FTSpeed, and I got an email back from them saying that it would arrive in late September. I’m a little upset that it’s gonna take months for it to arrive, but it’s fine I guess. Probably should have just bought solid mounts and did some maintenance in hindsight. |

Did some maintenance at ~78,400 miles yesterday. Did an oil change and replaced the trans and diff fluid. I got ARP studs to replace the OEM ones and I got some Type 200 ATE Brake Fluid, but I still have do bleed my brakes.
The pinch welds are really shitty I don’t know if that’s just my car, or if it’s just like that for every FRS. |

Decided to get new OEM Rotors and Winmax W3 pads. I was considering an even crazier compound, but I decided against it. Too bad the pads are in backorder for at least five more weeks.

I’ve seen people put stickers on the dash, but since have a electro-luminescent dash, I decided to not put any stickers there, but to instead put it on the glove compartment
It’s not a real JDM OPTION sticker, but I wish it was Last edited by Cedric; 07-13-2020 at 02:18 AM. |

The pinch welds def get bent easily on our cars, and actually most cars that get set on cast iron stands. Some people prefer to roll their cars onto ramps instead of setting them on stands to do fluid changes. You can get rubber caps for your jack stands to prevent pinch weld damage, but once they are bent there's really little point.

No new updates with the car, but I bought A LOT of parts, but they won’t be coming for a few more months since everything is backorder because of COVID-19.
There’s not too many 86s in my area, but there is a clean E39 M5 that’s always parked next to my work place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Cedric’s 10 Series Build Thread
Decided to just buy OEM pads for now, because there’s not much life left on my current pads, and my Winmax’s haven’t even shipped yet. I also plan replace both the front, and rear rotors, as well as bleed my brake fluid.
Might order Tomei unequals right now, since it might also be in backorder, and could take months for it to even ship. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Last edited by Cedric; 07-21-2020 at 02:38 AM. |

I have the same Tomei knob, I love it. It feels so much better than the heavy stock knob! |

Cedric’s 10 Series Build Thread
My build list so far. Yellow is everything that has to do with Maintenance, and Green is everything I’ve purchased. I’m missing a few things, but this should be everything I would like on the car, minus the Seibon Rear Seat Delete.
Edit: I realized nobody can see it, but I will try to post another list that’s actually readable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Cedric’s 10 Series Build Thread
Finally wired my Valenti fourth brake lights. Somehow, I managed the wire the brake light to be an extension of my left taillight, but I managed to reverse the effects and spliced it to the correct connector.
It’s extremely bright. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
