Called all 3 lines and they just kept ringing, so I'm assuming they lead to nowhere and are not hooked up. Went through old invoices, none of them have had any call activity for years .

Supervisor thinks I did this to save the company money, I just did it so there's less invoices I have to deal with every month
I mean, if you are handling payables, you are the last check against the validity of a good or service the company pays for. Sounds like supervisor is embarrassed he hadn't noticed.

Our old purchasing manager tended to do things because "that was the way it is always done." It made saving a ton of money super easy the first year I was partially handling some of those duties.

Maybe I shouldn’t have cried “bot.” The fuckers seem to have invaded.

Random Thoughts - Part III The Search for Spark (No Politics)

Took the BRZ to Gettysburg, PA. Awesome drive, just a bit drony because of the exhaust. Its a 6 hour drive and managed to use a full tank of gas according to my calculations. Engine temp and oil temps were pretty low even with a 88F weather. So points for amsoil?
The stock suspension was really unforgiving in certain parts of the highway.

I did take it on a scenic drive, driving past the battlefields and monuments was absolutely beautiful. A lot of civilians walking around so no funny business, plus lots of park rangers.

I think some folks cannot fully appreciate it the extent of what it meant to be in a civil war, not only the fact that lots of people died, and it was fellow Americans against each other. For me it was more about taking a look at the scenery and picturing how much it probably sucked to be fighting in that terrain. Setting up camp, not having any sort of cover, just an open field, archaic equipment, it was just mind blowing. I would love to go again and do a more in depth exploring, but Im glad I got to see what I saw and visit the places I was able to.

Let me guess, bucking on 81?

How long did you stay? Please say you didn't drive from Ct to PA then immediately turn around and go back.

That would be a pretty good guess.

Stayed from Thursday until today. Looking forward on going back around the same time of the year, weather was perfect.

Yeah, no suspension does well at speed there. I half suspect they make it that way on purpose.

been an expensive weekend.

close to $700 in tools, and still another $1,000 or so to go.

my new tool cart lasted 5 minutes after getting assembled before some rogue vinyl attacked it, debadged it, and covered the top. at least the carbon-look vinyl covered the main touch surfaces.
