If you want real JDM, you have to steal it yourself from a Tokyo metro train.
You can buy fake ones all over the place.

Need a replacement for your Truck Nutz?

To show that you’re JDM AF!

Just kidding no real “point” to them, but here’s the story: https://jdmtsurikawa.com/pages/tsurikawa_story

You can pick them up on that website too. There’s plenty of twins with these just search, OP

This is what they’re usually for. They hang from buses and trains in Japan (took this photo myself earlier this year).

The funny thing is, while I’d say they’re a bit of a meme in the US they’re actually kinda aesthetically pleasing, plus actually somewhat useful when put in our cars.

Lol, my father, whenever I drive him in the brz likes to have a ceiling handle but obviously our cars don’t have one. But with one of these mounted to the vanity mirror elbow/angular support bar it’s actually incredibly stable/solid to hold onto.

I actually got a used and “retired” one just like this when I was there from a train memorabilia shop for a few bucks.

Funnier thing was before my trip I felt pretty similar about them being useless and dumb to have.

But then I decided to pick one up as a souvenir and I’ve enjoyed having it since.

Plus it’s at least a more useful “mod” than getting something like an intake which most of the newbs do.

I lived in Japan for 7 years and not once while riding on the train did i think to myself, "I need to steal this handle and put it into my car."

Thanks, do you have a photo on how it looks from the inside? Is there enough space on the visor to attach it?

There have been issues with the plastic sun visor mount breaking off.
I'd only be willing to trust it if there were a metal plate underneath to hook directly to.
And some slightly stronger bolts.

*everyone liked that*

but honestly this trend is like in the mid 00s with the Newb driver JDM sticker ( i was a culprit. ) each to their own

I Do however like the history behind it, and how sometimes the most random shit takes on in the car world and becomes a thing. I can appreciate it just like I can appreciate donk or low riders.

I think its cool
would I put one in my car? never

I had a bitchin' Domo decal above the exhaust on my 4th gen Honda Prelude. Good times.
