2015 BRZ paint easily stained

Has anyone been seeing stains from trees or bug, specifically yellow(ish) colors staining the paint?

I went to Daytona and came home late. I saw a huge yellow moth(?) hit my car but when I checked it, i didn't see anything. Well, when I went to wash the bugs off, i saw it had hit the chin scoop and bumper. Now, it is stained yellow. I also noticed a yellow drop of some sort from a tree(?) and that stained as well.

Now, I walked by my car while parked and saw an orangeish drop of some sort. I carefully scrapped it off with my nail and it too has left a stain. I"M DIEING HERE!! Detailing my car is one of my most favorate meditations and it will erk me if I see these spots grow in numbers.

My white camaro didn't have the staining issue. It would actually have stuff I could feel and I just clay bared it. It never had stains like my BRZ.

I have had similar issues but more with bird poop staining my car even though I get it off as soon as I see it. I have the 2014 btw, many people have said subarus paint is not the greatest also.

use some tooth paste (not gel) on it or get some fine or medium compound.

Use a cleaner wax. It helps me remove the stains.

Think about getting your car Opti-Coated. It will add another level of protection for your paint.

Is your car new? It usually takes up to six months to fully cure modern paint. So before that it can stain easily. This problem is one of the reaso s why I do not like white cars. Get grey one and you won't even need to wash it for months.

Wash the car.

Use Iron X to remove iron contamination. My 2015 with 4 miles on it had a ton of iron contamination on the paint from rail transport.

Clay bar it with a very gentle grade of clay like Pinnacle Ultra Poly.

Seal the paint with a high grade paint sealant like Wolfgang.

It'll really help protect your paint.

Turtle Wax Label and Sticker remover. Removed all scuffs, debris, poop, stains in one swipe. Kind of scary actually. Will need to rewax and keep away from plastic

It is very new. 600 miles. 2015 brz. I joined auto geek forum, maybe I can learn some tips. I will pass them on here. I appreciate all the answer and will research them. I never had this problem with my camaro and am a bit bummed.

I got clear bra, it protected my front bumper well. Wipe off bugs and bird poop easily

i got a clear bra and opti-coat on mine, everything wipes off really easily, and i don't really have to worry about paint chips.

I use a car soap that has a bit of a wax in it as well, plus I use a glaze wax spray afterwords. I noticed that I missed a few yellow marks before applying everything. Any they are stuck. I just had to wash with normal dishsoap so it would remove all the way and blemishes. Then i waxed her and everything was gone.

*In my case, the paint wasn't stained, just stuck under wax.

Think again about OC... there's far better stuff than OC. I have OC on my car and it still etches from bird, bee, and tree poop. It also scratches easy. Save your money on OC (pro version) and use something else...I did apply EXO on top and so far it's an improvement...it's also more slick then OC. OC is tacky and EXO is so slick...PPF film have trouble sticking to it.

The only thing I see that pops off poop is wax...I used to use Zaino and it just pops off...but it's a sealant you constantly have to put on. The nice thing about OC is well waxing... but other products do that too.

Most of the proper cost you should pay your detailer is the paint correction time. Please don't think a brand new car does not need correction. If the dealer washes your car...it has scratches...if it was in the showroom...it'll have scratches...if it sits outside and sprinklers spray the car or they spray down the car and hard water dries...you will need correction. Once corrected, select a good protector...I have not tried C. Quartz or C1, but heard good things about it. I have EXO on my car now over the opti coat and seems good so far...but it's only been a week.

No it doesn't. The paint is fully cured in an oven before it's even assembled. You only have to worry about cure time if you have something resprayed at a body shop.
