Anyone have any tips for custom gauge clusters? I'd like something a little more fun. thanks in advance!

I thought I would be SO depressed coming from a 2011 M3 Comp...but I'm just not. I only miss the masterpiece engine in my former car. This FR-S is a go-cart, A LOT OF FUN and a coup of thoughtful sportscar engineering. One pleasant surprise I was not prepared for is these cars ACTUALLY HOLD RESALE VALUE TOO. Wow. I'm even warming up to how the flat-4 sounds particularly now that I have the TRD exhaust. Sounds extremely similar to the base Cayman inside now. It's OBVIOUS enthusiasts built/engineered this car from the ground up...it shows. What's amazing is this is even available at this price point. I used to think my M3 was amazing value but this is on a whole other level. 50 more horsepower stock/base and NOBODY would buy Cayman's, 370's, Genesis', Z4's or anything else in this class.

Traded my 09 GT-R in for a 2014 FR-S a couple weeks ago. I wonder if anyone has done a stranger trade-in? I love the car so far though!

Welcome. You're right. 50-60 more hp will put you in heaven. Take the money you saved and buy a supercharger like I did. Holy crap talk about a whole new level.

This is a gag, right? If not, then please explain why? The only logical answers I can see are cost or maintenance. Other than that if I were fortunate enough to be able to afford a GTR, I'd drive it all day, everyday! Welcome, btw!
Asphalt is a superb choice!

Possible divorce, change of living situation, 2 kids in college and 2 mortgages. The last 2 were just fine until the FIRST 2 happened. Lol.
Gas, cost of maintenance and nearly being outta warranty were other factors as well. Got within $1k of my initial asking price and sold the M3.

No gag, no divorce either lol. I'm 26, unmarried, no kids, decent job. The only way I could afford a GTR to be honest. I'm relocating (FL to TX) for work and I want something more meager for awhile. I had my fun for 1.5 yrs with the GTR, I'll get something else down the road. Daily driving a GT-R, at least for me, was incredibly stressful ... yea it's fun to have such a fast car, and something unique/different looking, but otherwise it's a giant hassle trying to find the perfect parking spot, trying not to kill people who give you door dings, etc etc etc ... that part of the ownership was a headache, not to mention the maintenance and repairs. When it was enjoyable, it was really awesome though!

A couple of my favorite pictures of the car, when I took a drive to the Tail of the Dragon and surrounding roads:

EXTREMELY WELL PUT and accurate. Driving my M3 was rarely enjoyable for exactly the same reasons. Bought this car and felt as if a weight had been lifted. I was always wishing I was driving and parking with "bubble wrap" around the car. Took away from the experience a little. When not preoccupied with worry it was truly wonderful.

Respectfully, I think it would be most cool if the GT-R and M3 sported a few classy dings.
